Butler Capital is led by Founder, R. Alan Butler, Jr., and Chief Operating Officer, Antoine C. Kemper, Jr. Collectively, they have extensive buy-side and sell-side Wall Street backgrounds, deep experience in alternative asset placement and a broad understanding of how to manage business risk and the operational infrastructure of large hedge funds. The team’s depth of knowledge has helped raise approximately $7 billion to-date successfully from a global investor base for over twenty-five different hedge funds and niche private equity funds across multiple strategies.

 

R. Alan Butler, Jr

Founder & Managing Member

Founded Butler Capital in 2001 and built it into a successful global capital placement business focused on raising capital for alternative investment Managers. Currently leads the firm's capital raising and sourcing efforts by leveraging Butler’s extensive investor network database and long-standing industry relationships.
